Christine Ziemetz

Hi, my name is Christine!  I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) working towards becoming a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP). I firmly believe that every person is doing the very best they can at any given moment with the knowledge and skills they have at the time, and until we know better, we can’t expect ourselves to do better.  Thus, it is my belief that we are all capable of learning and implementing healthier, more effective ways of doing things, and I want to be there to guide you through the process of becoming the very best version of yourself.

I have experience working with people of varying ages from 15-90. My experience includes working with people who have trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, those who struggle with managing behaviors, and regulating emotions. I believe that creating a strong therapeutic alliance is the key to empowerment and successful outcomes.

My approaches to treatment typically include aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and solution-focused approaches; however, your treatment will be individualized, so the modalities we use will reflect your needs. I am open, encouraging, empathetic, and direct as a therapist.  I strive to foster a relationship with my clients that allows them to feel safe and secure to be their authentic selves, without judgment, in order to grow. I look forward to meeting you and getting to walk alongside you on your therapeutic journey!

Masters In Clinical Counseling Intern

I have a Master’s degree in School Psychology and previously worked with children in the school setting. I am working towards earning another Master’s degree in
Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I believe that no matter who we are, we all experience unique challenges, whether we
are working through trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or are just feeling stuck and need a little help. Life can be difficult to navigate at times, so my goal as a
counselor is to offer a safe and judgment-free space for clients to share their stories, process difficult emotions/ experiences, and to find healing and empowerment to become the best version of themselves. I utilize various therapeutic interventions to help clients focus on their goals and make important steps towards positive change. I tend to use a Cognitive-Behavioral approach, but also utilize methods of Solution-Focused, Emotionally-
Focused, Systems, and other therapeutic approaches, depending on the best fit for the client’s individual needs. I try to understand clients holistically.  I look forward to partnering with you on this journey towards greater self-awareness, healing, and growth!

Katelynn Grundl

Hello! My name is Katelynn, and I’m in the final stages of completing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I gained an interest in the mental health field during my time in undergraduate school, and I obtained a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Wyoming in 2018. I have spent the past few years within the legal industry but never lost my passion to work within the mental health field. My practice leans into cognitive behavioral approaches, attachment and systemic theories.
